September 11 is Thursday, and Marshfield will be hosting an event titled “Marshfield Remembers.”

The memorial event will begin at 8 pm on Thursday at Patriot Park.

Close to 3000 flags and projects from students in the Marshfield school district will be on display starting at 8 am on September 11,  to remember the lives lost on that date.

Everyone is welcome to the tribute on Thursday which gets underway at 8 pm with two towers of lights.

The Marshfield High School Concert Choir will perform as the lights on display rise and Bryant Robinson playing the song “Taps” before the twin towers of light.
