Randy Rodgers started playing piano at just 6 years of age. His grandmother and he spent hours honing his piano playing skills. A few years later he picked up a guitar and he’s been playing and writing songs ever since. Like many of his Texas Country counterparts, the band’s first album was a live recording. “Live at Cheatham Street Warehouse” proved to be a big Texas Country hit. In 2002, the band released their first album on the independent Downtime Record label and have been cranking out music ever since becoming one of Texas Country’s biggest bands. Randy and I talk about his latest album “Homecoming” and more. Check it out.
