A ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday morning opened a brand new park just north of I-44 on North Glenstone.

The new park, which is open to everyone, is known as the Northeast Community Park and is located at 3535 N. Glenstone, next to Praise Assembly Church.

The Northeast Community Park features pickleball courts, sand volleyball, a soccer field, and a basketball court. An accessible playground will soon be available.

Northeast Community Park is open from sunrise to sundown and is managed by the church. To get to the park, you have to go through the Praise Assembly Church parking lot.
