The debate as to when to start listening to Christmas music is as ongoing as the argument for when to decorate for the season. However, when did it become a thing to fuss over when to say, “Merry Christmas”? A recent poll reported that 30% said not until mid-December, another 28% said only during the week of Christmas, then 7% said not until Christmas Day. However, 28% said it IS acceptable now. This includes the 21% who said it’s okay starting on December 1st. There were 5% who said sometime in November was alright and 2% who think people should be allowed to say Merry Christmas 365 days a year…wait, what?
