The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks needs your blood. Critically low levels of all blood types have prompted the need.

The center has less than a two-day supply of blood at this time. You can donate at the CBCO at either the Springfield location, or Joplin location.

Here are some  blood giving guidelines:

Have not given blood in the last 56 days.

You feel well and are not sick

Weigh at least 110 pounds

Must be at least 16 and have parental permission

Giving blood takes about 45 minutes,  and you will feel great knowing you have given back to others.

There are also donor centers in Springdale, Arkansas and Bentonville, Arkansas.
