Look for changes at the Department of Motor Vehicles! Starting November 6, several DMV offices will be closings temporarily as a new system will be implemented.
This two phase launch will make it easier to navigate online services, submit documents, make fee payments, and access public records.
Starting Nov. 6, license offices will be open but only for motor vehicle transactions, not for driver license services.
So if you need a license or if your license is set to expire during that time period, officials are asking you to take care of that business early or after November 11, as that service will be unavailable during that time.
Then, starting Friday, Nov. 8, through Monday, Nov. 11, ALL license offices will be closed statewide for the new system conversion.
More changes coming this spring, drivers can get a digital driver’s license, which will put the license directly on their phones.
