Coming up on Wednesday is the construction kick off for the The Jefferson Avenue Footbridge.

The city will be kicking off the construction at a get-together at 10:30 am at the C-Street Market Pavilion. Everyone is welcome!

The bridge will be dismantled and rehabilitated on the ground then reconstructed later.

The bridge has been closed since March of 2016 due to safety issues. Completion date is set for the spring of 2026.
