The Missouri State Highway Patrol is boosting their law enforcement efforts  surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday.  This holiday period is one of the busiest travel times.

MSHP will also be responsible for enforcing a new state law prohibiting the use of handheld communication or media devices while driving. The law took effect in August, and fines are set to be imposed beginning in January.
