It’s Election Day in the Ozarks! Polls are open today from 6 am – 7 pm.
Here is a list of acceptable ID’s to bring to the polls for check in.
- A non-expired Missouri driver’s or non-driver’s license;
- A non-expired military ID, including a veteran’s ID card;
- A non-expired United States passport; or
- Another photo ID issued by the United States or the state of Missouri is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election.
- *If the driver’s or non-driver’s license has expired after the most recent general election, it is an acceptable form of voter ID.
- Voters ONLY Missouri will decide on area county, municipal and school-related issues for our state.
- Here is what you’ll find on the election ballot in Southwest Missouri:
Springfield voters will decide on a new mayor. Jeff Scrag and Mary Collette will face off in the race.
Matthew Simpson and Bruce K. Adib-Yazdi will face off for Springfield City Council Seat Zone 4.
Voters will decide between Heather Hardinger and Eric Pauly for Springfield City Council Seat Zone A.
Voters will elect two to the Springfield Public Schools School Board.
School districts in the Ozarks will decide on school board seats, tax levies, and bonds.
Several rural fire protection districts will ask voters to approve tax levy hikes and bond extensions to pay for improvements, equipment, and firefighters.
Many counties and municipalities, including Lebanon and Branson will feature sales tax issues.
