Look up in the sky and get ready for a falling star party!
The Perseid meteor shower will peak on Thursday and Friday. Authorities are saying you may be able to view as many as 100 “shooting stars” per hour if the weather is clear.
The “shooting stars” are actually debris left behind from the comet Swift-Tuttle.
A full moon on Thursday which will make looking up in the sky even more pleasurable.
