Storm debris pick up is finally getting underway this week. Zone one begins with the pickup and residents are asked to place their storm debris by the curb.

Serious storms rolled through the Springfield metro in April and June.

Limbs, leaves, branches and trees were left behind in the wake of the storm

Here is the itinerary for debris pickup  throughout the Springfield area.

• Zone 1: August 11-15
• Zone 3: August 18-22
• Zone 2: August 25-29
• Zone 4: September 1-5

Authorities are suggesting that even though your Zone may not be picked up immediately, please place curbside as soon as possible.
