The Ozarks first taste of winter, hit us over the weekend and today!

Bitter cold temps, blowing snow and slick patches on the roadway will greet you on this first Monday, of the new year.

Law enforcement officials are urging you to stay off the roads unless you absolutely have to drive.

If you should get stranded, or your vehicle breaks down- call for help immediately. Don’t leave your vehicle if you don’t have to.

Make sure you have a winter pack in your vehicle, that contains bottled water, blankets, extra coats, gloves, hats and a phone charger.
