Vacation! Woo Hoo- getting to your destination on time and without delays may be some what tricky this year. Airport security check lines are the culprit. Some travelers wait until closer to their departure before they go thru the checkpoint while others arrive too early but then have to wait at the gate for hours.
Airport authorities say the best time is to play it safe and go early. Avoid peak flying times if possible.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – Busiest time of day: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) – Busiest time of day: 4 a.m. to 5 a.m.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) – Busiest time of day: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Miami International Airport (MIA) – Busiest time of day: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) – Busiest time of day: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) – Busiest time of day: 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. and 11 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Denver International Airport (DEN) – Busiest time of day: 4 a.m. to 5 a.m.
