Residents of Forsyth boil your water until further notice.

A utility contractor broke an eight-inch water main yesterday afternoon on Coy Avenue.

The boil advisory will affect  everything north and west of Swan Creek including downtown Forsyth and areas near 160 plus the Forsyth school.

Crews are working around the clock in order to repair the break and flush out the system.

Forsyth residents using city water should expect low water pressure or no water until the main has been fixed and the boil advisory is lifted.
