These four local teachers have made it to the next round for “Teacher of the Year” in Missouri!
The semifinalists from southwest Missouri:
- Alison Corl, Neosho — Math, Neosho Junior High
- Shannon Truitt, Spokane — Reading (Library), Highlandville Elementary
- Jennifer Justice Webber, Branson — Kindergarten, Buchanan Elementary
- Melissa Willoughby, Laclede County — Special Education, Joel E. Barber Elementary
The Teacher of the Year program showcases the positive impact that teachers have on their students.
The Teacher of the Year finalists will be named Aug. 29,2024, with the winner named in October.
