Expect a letter in the mail from General Motors if you drive a Cadillac or a Chevrolet Camaro.

Nearly 100,000 vehicles are under the recall for transmission issues.

According to the recall, the vehicles’ transmission can suffer internal damage which could cause the front wheels to then lock up, increasing the risk of a crash.

Those vehicles under the recall will have installed a transmission control module monitoring software free of charge from the dealership.
