Mid-America Street Rod Nationals s October 16 through 18, 2020 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.  There will be street rods, cool customs, pick-ups, restored muscle cars, pro-touring cars and just about any kind of car you would like to see.   8 am– 5 pm ticket prices vary.

Hotel of Terror Friday and Saturday night- Doors open at 7- Masks will be worn. Ticket prices  $17.00  334 N. Main St.

Dungeons of Doom- Doors open at 7 pm Masks will be worn. Ticket prices $17.00 701 W. Wall St.

Did you know that the Mansion at Elfindale Bed and Breakfast offers FREE Tours? Hear the rich history of the Mansion  Tours are by appointment only –

Hear ghostly tales while touring the Pythian castle on Friday and Saturday evenings. The tour will focus on the history of the castle. Children ages 8 and up are welcomed with an 8-person minimum. Reservations recommended.

Haunted History Walking Tours! Listen about some ghostly encounters around downtown Springfield. Tickets 20 dollars – Go to the History Museum on the Square to purchase tickets- The tour begins at 5:30 pm.

SATURDAY 

Cruise Kearney Saturday night from 6 – 10 pm! This cruise is scheduled to coincide with the Street Rod Nationals.

Create a festive fall center piece using a pumpkin or gourd as a container and filling it with live succulents. Registration required by calling the Botanical Center 417-891-1515. Fee $30/Centerpiece . Class limited to 12.

Does your swimmer love mermaids or sharks? Camp includes mermaid hair and make-up, an underwater photoshoot, and a mermaid tail to keep. Shark fins are also available.  Diventures 5225 S. Campbell..Mermaid Camp times are  2 pm – 5 pm  October 17th-18th

The Civil War Lantern Tour at Smallin’ Cave includes dinner. Masks are required in some areas. The tour and dinner will last 3 hours. Cost is 35.00 with limited people on each tour.  6:30-9:30 pm

West Central Neighborhood cleanup. Residents and/or property owners in the West Central neighborhood are invited to participate in the spring neighborhood cleanup. The City and the neighborhood association encourages residents to take advantage of this free and convenient opportunity. Clean up begins at  8 am

The Rutledge- Wilson Farm Park “Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch”  opens for the season Tuesday thru Sunday 9 am – 5 pm.  Don’t forget your mask.
