The National Weather Service of Springfield has issued a  Flood Watch starting at 4 pm this afternoon and will run through noon Wednesday for the entire 105.1 The Bull listening area.

Possible flash flooding caused by excessive rain is possible. Authorities indicated that excessive runoff may result in the flooding of creeks, rivers, lakes, streams, and low-water crossings.

As the thunderstorms move through the Ozarks, some storms will have “training showers” which could cause up to 5 inches of rain to fall in some locations.

Stay alert, turn around don’t drown when water is over the road.
