Hunger doesn’t take a break and neither does the Ozarks Food Harvest!
The Ozarks Food Harvest supplies food to thousands of homes who are experiencing food insecurities in Southwest Missouri.
Here are some ways you can help our neighbors.
• Splash and Sizzle, through September 4. Admission to all outdoor Springfield-Greene County Park Board pools is $1 or free when you bring one canned food item per person.
• Ozarks Food Harvest month at Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, through June 30. Blood donors can help their donation go further by dedicating their Life-Points to Ozarks Food Harvest during the month of June. CBCO will convert donated points to cash and make a donation to Ozarks Food Harvest.
• Taste of SoMo, June 22. Enjoy a day of delicious food and beer sampling, learning stations, live music and more on Park Central Square! Ozarks Food Harvest receives a portion of the proceeds.
• Lucas Oil Speedway Food Drive, June 22. Enjoy an evening of dirt-track racing and be a part of The Food Bank’s largest annual food drive. Get FREE admission to the races when you bring four nonperishable food items for donation to Ozarks Food Harvest.
