If you drive an older Kia, it could be under a massive recall.

Kia is recalling 2012-2013 Optima Sedans because the cars may not have secured headliner plates.  If not secured properly, the headliner plates could detach and hit drivers or passenger once the side curtain airbags inflate in a crash.

Nearly 260,000 older midsize cars are in the recall.

Kia said documents posted Tuesday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, indicate that dealers will put industrial-grade tape over the plates to help secure them.
