Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we will be able to see a rare planetary alignment!
Six planets should visible, four of which are visible to the naked eye.
The best time to view the alignment is about 45 minutes after sunset on Tuesday (January 21), when Venus and Saturn are in the southwest, Jupiter is high in the southeast, and Mars is in the east.
Two other planets, Neptune and Uranus, are visible in the night sky, but only with a telescope. Mercury is the only planet not visible in the night sky, as it is currently in the morning sky.
Another planetary alignment will take place on February 28. In the evening, just after sunset, seven planets — Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter, and Mars — will align in the sky.
