Welcome to WET NOSE WEDNESDAYS! In partnership with CARE Animal Rescue, James River Animal hospital, and 105.1 The Bull, we’re on a mission to help find fur-ever homes for some amazing dogs. Each week, we’ll feature a special dog available for adoption right here on our website and across our social media channels.

Meet Blueberry:

Blueberry is a goofy, fun-loving 5-year-old Shepherd mix who’s basically a walking good time. He’s got a big heart, a big smile, and yes… BIG energy. This boy LOVES his walks, treasures his toys, and shows off some pretty darn good manners – when he remembers to slow down long enough to use them!

Blueberry is excitable in the best way: the “life-of-the-party,” “never-met-a-stranger,” “is-that-a-toy?!” kind of excitable. He can be a lot, but in the most joyful way – so he’s looking for someone who loves fun just as much as he does. If you’re active, playful, and ready to laugh daily, you might be his perfect match. Think you can keep up with Blueberry? He hopes so… because he can’t wait to meet you!
