Wilson Creek National Battlefield is open. Drive thru only, the visitor center is not opened at this time.

Springfield pools at Chesterfield and Doling open. Adult swim in the morning with all swim in the afternoons… limited capacity…

The Wonders of Wildlife opens after 2 months of closures due to the pandemic. Limited guests, timed entry reservations and social distancing required.

Farmers Market of the Ozarks continues their drive thru service on Saturday from 8 am until 1 pm. Contact the Farmers Market on which vendors you are interested  or head to Facebook and type in FMOZARKS for details

MONDAY

The Missouri Veterans Cemetery in south Springfield has canceled its annual Memorial Day Celebration on May 25 and will not host any public Memorial Day events this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Families are invited to visit grave-sites on any day of the weekend to avoid possible crowds on Memorial Day itself. The cemetery gates are open sunrise to sunset, and it is located at 5201 S. Southwood.
