Many wonder if the rain will ever come to an end- the answer is YES! However, we will have to get past Wednesday first!

The next round of storms ready to hit the Ozarks is expected to begin Monday and last thru Wednesday.

Localized flooding is a good possibility due to saturated grounds, and overflowing rivers, streams and creeks.

Be watchful especially at night when visibility is low. Turn around don’t drown when you see water over the road. It’s hard to judge exactly how deep that water may be.

So far in Greene county including the city of Springfield, we have received over 10 inches of rain.  Many have reported upwards of 20 inches of rain since April just south of Springfield!
