Three Springfield area Walmart stores will be getting new fuel center soon. Currently preliminary work is underway.

Gas stations/convenience stores will be added to these existing store locations:

3245 S. Campbell Ave. (at Walnut Lawn St.),

3535 Mt. Vernon St. (at West Bypass)

1923 E. Kearney (at Glenstone Ave.)

Authorities indicate that the  S. Campbell Ave. and E. Mt. Vernon St. locations will be completed in November.  The opening at the E Kearney location hasn’t been determined yet.
