A trip to Daytona Beach Florida for vacation, has a Nixa youth taking a trip to the hospital!

The 14-year-old boy had been swimming in Volusia County at the beach when the shark bite occurred.

The teen was taken to the hospital with a bite to his foot and his injuries are not life threatening.

Information regarding the boys name or what kind of shark that bit him have not been released.
