Today is Juneteenth! What is Juneteenth?  Juneteenth- celebrates the day in 1865 when enslaved Black people in Galveston, Texas, learned that the Emancipation Proclamation had freed them.

In honor of Juneteenth- many business will be closed.

The New York Stock Exchange will be closed today.

Many banks are shut down

No mail service today due to the federal holiday.
