New Year’s Eve looks different for everyone. Some of us are ringing in the new year with kids who won’t make it past noon. Some are planning a midnight toast in heels or boots. And some just want a great atmosphere, good drinks, and a reason to start the year feeling alive. I went on the hunt for free rides home this New Year’s Eve, and while that option was limited this year, the good news is there’s no shortage of fun, memorable ways to celebrate responsibly around the area. Whether you’re counting down at noon, midnight, or somewhere in between, here are six local New Year’s Eve celebrations that let you welcome the new year your way.
