It’s Navy Week!

Springfield and the Branson area are hosting members of the Navy this week.  Visiting sailors are giving back to area non-profits.

Sailors will be at the Wonders of Wildlife answering questions about the Navy including the history, oceanography and meteorology.

Navy crewmen will also be volunteering at the Dickerson Park Zoo this Friday from 8 am- 1 pm.

A special class called “Animal Heroes-Helpers on Land and Sea,” is open for kids ages 2-1st grade. Registration is required. You can register HERE. Kids will meet the sailors and learn how animals help people every day.

The Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
