Need to beat the heat?  Great news!

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board will be offering extended pool hours during hot spells in the Ozarks.

Each day that the National Weather Service (NWS) issues A heat advisory for Greene County, at least one  Springfield/Greene County pool will be open until 7 p.m.

Today Silver Springs Pool at 1100 N. Hampton Ave stays open until 8 pm.

Regular admission applies during standard business hours, which is $6 for adults and $5 for kids and seniors from 1-5:30 p.m. The admission then  drops at 5:30 pm to $1 or free admission if you bring a canned food donation to benefit the Ozarks Food Harvest.
