Winter Storm Warning! Get your car car or truck weather ready!
Here are 10 tips to help you through the winter months with your vehicle.
- Make sure your tires have as much tread as possible or replace them.
- Is your car/truck battery charged? Have your battery tested.
- Clean off your battery terminals for better charging or recharging.
- Lubricate your window tracks. Water could get into your window tracks causing drag and damage.
- Lube your hinges and latches. Hoods, trunks, and doors.
- Check your coolant add if necessary.
- Check your windshield washer. Top off if necessary.
- Check and replace wiper blades if needed.
- Replace cabin car/truck filters.
- Assemble a winter weather kit. Jumper cables, blanket, extra gloves, coat, small shovel, protein bars, phone chargers, fix-a-flat, water, first aid kit, candle and candle holder, kitty litter (to help with traction), and small tool bag. (screw driver, hammer, nails, etc)
