Do you own a Tesla, Ram, Honda, GM or Volkswagen?  Your vehicle could be under  a recall from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  Here is the recall list:

Tesla is recalling 25 of its 2024 Model X crossover SUVs because the parking lights and low-beam headlights may flicker.  Tesla released an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Jan. 31, 2025. Owners may contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Tesla’s number for this recall is SB-24-00-017.

McLaren recalls supercar for rear window issues the rear cabin window may have insufficient adhesive bonding, which can allow the window to detach from the support frame. A detached window could increase the risk of a crash, Dealers will install bespoke fasteners into each corner of the polycarbonate panel, free of charge. Letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed Dec. 4.  Owners may contact McClaren customer service at 1-646-429-8916. McClaren’s number for this recall is 2024/002.

Volkswagen recalls Audi models for fire risk Volkswagen is recalling 4,616 of its 2022-2023 Audi Q5 PHEV hybrid SUVs and 2022 Audi A7 PHEV hybrid sedans because the high-voltage battery may overheat, Volkswagen dealers will install advanced diagnostic software as the final remedy. Repairs will be performed for free.  Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be delivered by Jan. 24, 2025.  Owners may contact Volkswagen Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. General Motors is recalling its 2024 Chevrolet Silverado for an unlatched tailgate. The tailgate’s electronic gate-release switch may short circuit due to water intrusion. This can cause the tailgate to unlatch while the vehicle is in park, the report said.  Recall notification letters are expected to be delivered by Jan. 13, 2025. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782.

Honda recalls Passport, Pilot for potential fuel leak. Honda is recalling its 2023-2025 Pilot for a potential fuel leak. A fuel leak near an ignition source increases the risk of a fire, the report said.

 Recall notification letters are expected to be sent by Jan. 6, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda’s number for this recall is OKM.

Stellantis recalls Ram trucks over brake issue.  Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, is recalling its Ram trucks for a crash risk.  The automobile company said that the hydraulic control unit (HCU) may fail which can cause the anti-lock brake (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), and traction control systems to fail.
