Christmas is over and this year you wanted a “live” tree. There is nothing like the smell of pine thru your house to make you think of the holidays.

So now, what DO you DO with that live tree? You can take it to Bass Pro’s main store and the Boy Scouts will take it off your hands for a small donation.  Bass Pro Shops has a plan to donate the trees as a chance to help area wildlife with their habitats in and out of the water.

• The drop-off location is at 1938 S Campbell Avenue, in the parking lot across from the main entrance to Bass Pro Shops.
• Trees are accepted from noon until 6 p.m., every day through December 31st.
• Organizers ask that all ornaments, lights, and decorations be removed from trees before being dropped off.
