Road construction on Sunshine begins in 2025 and it will be a headache for many drivers.

Modot Crews will begin demolishing the Sunshine bridge between Kansas Expressway and Scenic in January.

Traffic impact will be significant as more than 25 thousand vehicles pass over the bridge each day. Closures can be expected to last up to four months or until the work is completed.
