Roadwork is now underway between Kearney and Division streets.

A new project will have the roadway upgraded to include a new center turning lane for large business trucks and trailers moving in and off of Le Compte Road.

City crews will work in two phases.

The first phase began on Monday ( June 30,2025) and will include the closing of LeCompte Road from Division street to the Springfield Underground’s south entrance.

The second phase will begin in September.

Find an alternative route while LeCompte is shut down.
