Slight changes coming from the US Postal Service just took effect on April 1, and it could impact your mail.
The Postal Service indicated that some mail deliveries will be faster, while some deliveries will be slower.
The new mail standards have been implemented to save money.
Delivery for current mail service in southwest Missouri, is between 1 and 5 days.
The US Postal services indicates that 3/4 of the mail deliveries to homes won’t notice a change.
The USPS has just released a new Service Stands Map which will allow patrons to see how many days it will be
before their letter is delivered or arrives. GO HERE to see the map on deliveries based on Zip Codes.
Now that Phase one has been implemented, the second Phase with the USPS will begin July 1, 2025
