With still 2/3 of winter still yet to come, if you haven’t winterized your home, do it now.  Of course we will have more cold spells, snow, and other winter weather between now and March 20.

Here are tips to save on your utility bill

Check for drafts around windows and doors. If you feel air coming in, block it by using blankets or towels around the window or doors.

Turn down the thermostat during the  day especially if you wont be there.  A good sleeping temp at night is between 64-67 degrees.

If you have a window facing the south- let in the sun. The natural light and sun’s heat will help warm up your home too.
