Storm damage and power outages has closed many Springfield/Greene County Parks.

Authorities say the current parks and facilities will be closed today or until further notice due to unsafe conditions or no electricity.

Ritter Springs Park – all the roads to access the park are blocked, multiple large trees down in the park across driveways

Grant Beach Park – Multiple large trees down that are entangled in power lines

Dickerson Park Zoo – Closed until further notice

Springfield Skate Park – Closed until further notice.

SPARC – Offices at Jenny Lincoln and Oak Grove are without power.

Doling Family Center – Closed until further notice.

Northview Center – Closed until further notice.

Bill and Payne Stewart Golf Course – Closed Wednesday 4/30/25 due to storm damage

Horton Smith Golf Course – Closed Wednesday 4/30/25 due to storm damage

Springfield Botanical Gardens at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park – Botanical Center closed until further notice.
