First Friday Artwalk in downtown Springfield. The FREE self guided tour begins at 6 pm for this family friendly event.

Free movies at Founders Park under the stars. No tickets required. Bring your lawn chair. Movies begin around 9 pm. Friday’s movie: Puss N Boots.

Cinco De Mayo- get a designated driver if you are celebrating at area bars.

Friday Night Farm tours at Finley Farms begins at 5:30

Springfield Cardinals “Halfway to Halloween” kids costume and parade and fireworks after the game. First pitch at 6:35 tickets still available

Artsfest on Historic Walnut Street is both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5.00. Look for the Bull Crew- we’d love to meet you. Gates open 10 am- 5pm

“Girls on the Run Springfield 5k” begins at Plaster Sports Complex 901 S. National Price is $35 dollars the race is 10 am- noon. Go early to register
