Tarantula’s are on the move, yes, here in Missouri! Rocky terrain, thick underbrush and forests are perfect habitat for the big 8 legged creatures. Though they aren’t that common to see, we still have them. Many tarantula siting’s have been found close to Tablerock Lake.

 Be glad we don’t live in Colorado because the great tarantula migration is underway. During the spiders’ annual mating season, thousands of the hairy, brown creatures can be found scurrying across the rocky surface of La Junta, Colorado, located about three hours south of Denver. What are those tarantulas on the hunt for? Mates, of course!
