Starting Sunday, September 15, Target will be willing to take your old car-seat and you will received in return a 20% discount for a new car seat, stroller or select baby gear.

Target is accepting all types of car seats regardless of their condition including car seat bases or booster car seats.

The car seats will be recycled to make plastic buckets, create pallets and carpet padding.

Target’s car seat recycling event will run through September 28, and is part of the company’s goal of zero waste in landfills by 2030.
