A bill is on the governors desk waiting for approval to ban texting while driving in Missouri.  Missouri currently is only onoe of two US states that don’t have a law to prohibit those OVER the age of 21 from texting and driving.

Fines and penalties will be given to those repeat offenders, violations occurring in work zones, school zones, and violations that result from damage, bodily harm, or death, while driving and texting.

Should Governor Parsons sign off on the bill, it will take effect coming up in August.
