The Missouri’s Show Me green Sales Tax Holiday is a chance for you to save money on energy-efficient appliances.

Between now and midnight April 25, you won’t have to pay state sales tax on qualifying Energy Star Appliances for up to $1500 per item.

The Energy Star appliances meet the efficiency guidelines which are set by the EPA.  In order to qualify to become and Energy Star appliance, the products must use less energy and help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Here is a list of appliances that qualify for the Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday.

• Air conditioners
• Clothes dryers
• Clothes washers
• Dishwashers
• Freezers
• Furnaces
• Heat pumps
• Refrigerators
• Water heaters

If you are going to take advantage of the sales tax discount- you must do it BEFORE  Friday, April 25 at midnight!
