As part of the Chestnut Expressway Safety and Operational Improvement construction, you can expect two roads to be shut down on Chestnut Expressway.

Starting today, September 3, 2025,  MODOT crews will have shut down Hilton Avenue just south of Chestnut Expressway as well as Nettleton Avenue which is just north of Chestnut Expressway.

Road crews will be working to reconstruct and pave the new approaches to Chestnut Expressway.  Watch for detour signs where needed.
