There is an increase of thefts in and around area parks.

When cars are left unattended, make sure you have hidden your valuables out of sight.

Purses, wallets and even phones have been taken after a smashed window and a grab by thieves.

Area park staff encourages visitors not to leave any valuable in their vehicles, instead lock them up tight in the trunk, BEFORE you arrive at your destination.

Thieves do monitor parking lots looking for their next chance to steal.
