We are 10 days out from the powerful storms that hit the Ozarks on April 29, 2025.

A large amount of debris has been taken away, yet much more has been left behind.

The Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management is in need of volunteers to help aid in storm relief efforts.

Thousands of calls have come through the call center at the Public Safety Center, but currently there are only three people who are manning the phones, and returning calls.

Most are asking for help in cleaning up the debris left behind the storms.

Volunteers are needed not only in the call center, but also with cleaning up neighborhood debris.

If you are interested in volunteering call the Office of Emergency Management at 417-829-6200.

The call center is open 8 am to 6pm.
