Cuts are coming to several Walgreens across the U.S.

Unfortunately, Springfield has a store in the crosshairs of the cuts.

The Walgreen location on West Grand at Kansas Expressway will be shuttered on February 17, 2025

A notice on the door indicates the retail portion will be open until that date, however the pharmacy is closed.

If you get your prescriptions filled at the Walgreen’s Grand location, you don’t need to take action. Prescriptions will automatically be transferred to the Walgreen location at 2951 S. Campbell.
