A boil water advisory has been issued for the residents of Fair Grove.

A positive sample for E. Coli and coliform has been found in the water.

Several samples will be taken until there is no bacteria in the water system. Residents are urged to boil their drinkable water for 3 minutes and let it cool before using it.

Authorities also suggest not using the ice in the household ice maker and to disinfect dishes and surfaces in clean water with bleach.

The boil advisory will be lifted once the test samples come back negative.
