Weekend Update for May  19-21

FRIDAY   

Nixa Sucker Days- Free admission 3 pm- 10 pm with the Parade at 6pm

Animal Encounter at the Dickerson Park Zoo included in admission 10:15 am. The zoo will bring in two animals and spend 30 min educating your kiddos about those animals! Kids will also get to go home with a coloring sheet! Located in the Jungle Gym area.

Ghost tours at Pythian Castle begins at 8 pm. Admission prices vary.

SATURDAY

Nixa Sucker Days- music, arts and crats, food and fun! FREE admission Gates open 9 am-10:30 pm

Garden Walk and Talk begins at 1pm at Springfield Botanical Gardens at Nathanael Greene/ 2400 S Scenic Ave. FREE

Bark in the Park at Phelps Grove Park- 10 am- 2pm Free admission ParkBoard.org/DogEvents

$ The Love of K-9’s adoption even at 4560 S. Campbell.  Many dogs will be on hand for immediate adoption. Check out the dogs starting at 10 am.

“Hero’s at Farm!” At Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park, you can meet local first responders and emergency workers. Free admission 10 am- 2pm

Weekly Racing/Powder Puff races at Springfield Raceway. Gates open at 5pm. Admission prices vary

Garden Story and Zoo Friend time at the Botanical gardens. Learn about birds. FREE it begins at 10 am.

Ozark Empire Fairgrounds Automotive Swap Meet. Gates open at 8 am. Admission is free but parking is $5.00 rain or shine.
