Weekend Update for April 1-3

FRIDAY

First Friday Artwalk in downtown Springfield! This self guided tour can begin at 6 pm. FREE

Concerts galore with the Worlds Fishing Fair and the Concerts for Conservation! Tonight- Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, John Anderson and Chris Janson will be on stage at the JQH Arena! Tickets still available….

Seussical Science Days at the Discovery Center 10 am until 6pm.

Sho-Me Gourd Art Festival at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds- Check out all the decorative gourds. Gourd workshops and Gourd craft ideas…  8 am – 3pm

SATURDAY

Worlds Fishing Fair continues at Bass Pro Shop on S. Campbell. Watch for traffic detours between Sunshine and Cherokee

Easter Egg Hunt at Roller Park in Sparta 3 pm Bring the kids- three age groups 0-4, 5-7, 8 & up and a special needs group. There will be a petting zoo and the Easter Bunny

Kite and piñata Festival at the Springfield Botanical Gardens. FREE admission Bring a kite to fly on the great lawn or purchase a kite kit to build and decorate your own. Whack a piñata nearby or purchase a kit to build your own mini piñata. Each $5.00 11- 4pm

Bill Engvall  at the GIllioz theater- 8 pm showtime
